Stormy - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Stormy is a gray tabby girl who is a bundle of love. She prefers people to almost all other cats. She learned from her first adopter how to jump into your lap and put her front paws around your neck. She will then happily press up against your chest, tuck her head under your chin, and stay in your arms as long as youll allow it. In return for your affection, she will lovingly groom you. Stormy is not food driven, but she does love treats. Her current favorite snack is a few pieces of kibble from the dog bowl, but she will also come running for more traditional fare, from Greenies to squeeze treats. For play, Stormy can be easily lured to chase a red dot, a ping pong ball, or a ball of paper, proving just how easy she is to please. If you have a lap, arms and love to give, this girl is ready and waiting to give you hers.

Rescued from life outdoors, Stormy and her two sisters were frightened little kittens until they met their "foster mom, a gentle 50-pound dog with years of experience. Stormy was originally adopted with her sister, Jazz, but were returned to PPAH when the adopter's landlord forced them to surrender the pair based on changes to the building's lease terms. Stormy has lived with her sister, Jazz, for her entire life. Although they are close and enjoy playing together, they are not bonded.

Stormy accepts dogs but has no particular interest in them. She does just fine with other cats.
