Meet Janet, the tiny black kitten with a name that stuck for the best reason. When Janet first arrived as a premature newborn, we were convinced this little one was a girl. As it turns out, it's surprisingly difficult to tell the difference with day-old preemies, and by the time we realized Janet was actually a boy, the name had already become part of his story.

Janet is everything people love about black kittens. He's endlessly playful, wonderfully goofy, and always looking for his next adventure. Whether he's climbing to the highest perch, chasing ribbons across the room, or diving through a tunnel for the hundredth time, he knows how to keep himself entertained. He also loves making new feline friends and would be thrilled to have a playful buddy to wrestle and romp with in his forever home. Janet would do best in a home where he has another friendly cat or kitten to play with and plenty of toys to fuel his endless curiosity.

Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States.
