Poppi - Shepherd and Dutch Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Mama Poppi has spent her life taking care of everyone else. After wandering onto a kind family's farm while pregnant, she was surrendered to us with her five surviving puppies. We suspect this wasn't her first litter, and now it's finally her turn to be the one who's cared for.

She's still learning that people can be trusted, so she'll need a patient adopter willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Every day she grows a little braver, especially when belly rubs are involved. She loves neighborhood walks, walks beautifully on a leash, and is beginning to discover just how fun life can be. She's still getting used to new people and other animals, but with a little time and a lot of love, Mama Poppi is ready to leave motherhood behind and enjoy the happy, spoiled life she's always deserved.

Mama Poppi is available for adoption and is also eligible for our foster-to-adopt program for homes within two hours of Chattanooga, giving her the chance to settle in while you make sure, she's the perfect fit.

Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States.
