Charlie - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Charlie thought he had already found his forever.

He was adopted from us as a tiny 8-week-old kitten and spent the next two and a half years knowing one home, one routine, and one family. Then, through no fault of his own, Charlie was returned to our care, and the only life he had ever known was suddenly gone.

His entire world was turned upside down.

Despite all that change, Charlie remains an absolute love bug. He adores his people and is wonderfully chatty, filling the room with the sweetest little chirps and conversations whenever he has something to say. He wants to be near you, soak up affection, and remind you just how much love an adult cat has to give.

When he's not chatting with his humans, one of Charlie's favorite things to do is find a warm patch of sunshine and settle in for a long, peaceful lounge. He's the kind of cat who makes a home feel a little cozier just by being in it.

Charlie does great with other cats and can live with very well-mannered dogs who understand that he appreciates his personal space. He also does wonderfully with respectful children.

At just two and a half years old, Charlie should have had his whole life figured out. Instead, he's starting over and waiting for someone new to choose him.

This time, we want it to be forever.

Charlie has already lost the home he grew up in once. We're hoping his next family will give this sweet, talkative boy the security of knowing he'll never have to lose his home again.

Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States.
