Sparky - (ab) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Burlington, Washington

Meet Sparky! He is a rambunctious little guy and also loves to be close to his humans for kisses, cuddles, and loves. He came to our rescue in pretty rough shape and had been treated for diarrhea, a URI, and a suspected herpes-related eye infection. You may notice his eyes appear slightly dilated in his profile pictures, and they may likely stay slightly dilated for life. He also may have a slightly weepy right eye as a life-long feature. He has made INCREDIBLE progress with the condition of his eyes during his time in foster care and has received intensive care to get him here. His foster is looking for a committed adopter willing to adore him despite his weepy, bug eyes, and continue to care for him in whatever way he needs to support his overall health.

Due to his young age, Sparky would do best in a home with at least one other young cat or kitten companion. Thus, we will only consider applications that meet this criteria. We strongly encourage that ALL adoption applicants with resident kitties already in their home update their resident kitty’s core vaccine, FVRCP, to prevent herpes-related viral transmission. This is especially true for any kitties Sparky may come to live with. Sparky’s littermate, Wylde, is also available for adoption, and his foster parent will prioritize applicants willing to keep this sibling pairs together.

The adoption fee is $175 for kittens, but there is a $25 discount when adopting a pair. Sparky is neutered, vaccinated, blood tested, microchipped and litter box trained. He has been treated for fleas and parasites.
