Syrup - Domestic Short Hair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Bolingbrook, Illinois

SYRUP – A Little Adventurer with Big Dreams!
DOB: 5/21/26

Meet SYRUP, an adorable gray tabby kitten with beautiful green eyes, endless energy, and a love for adventure! This playful guy is always on the move, exploring his surroundings and finding new ways to have fun.

SYRUP loves chasing toys across the floor, playing with the boa wand, and climbing his cat tree. And when we say climbing, we mean it! Give this little guy the opportunity, and he'll happily head for the highest spot he can find. He also enjoys spending time by the window, watching all the activity outside.

Of the three triplets, SYRUP is the shyest and most easily startled, especially by sudden movements. He'll need a patient, understanding family willing to give him time to feel safe and comfortable.

SYRUP is one of three adorable triplet kittens looking for their forever homes. He can be adopted individually or with one or both of her siblings. Imagine twice (or three times!) the kitten fun!

A Special Note About SYRUP:
SYRUP and his two siblings have tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). Although they are currently healthy, active, and playful kittens, FeLV can weaken a cat's immune system and may shorten their lifespan. FeLV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs, but it can spread to other cats. Because all three siblings are FeLV-positive, they can safely live together, but they should be kept indoors and live in a home without FeLV-negative cats. With proper veterinary care, a nutritious diet, and lots of love, FeLV-positive cats can enjoy happy, fulfilling lives.

If you’d like to meet SYRUP, please call Humane Haven Animal Shelter (630-378-4208) for more information or for an appointment. All Humane Haven cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, and have had their distemper and rabies vaccines.
