Maple - Domestic Short Hair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Bolingbrook, Illinois

MAPLE – Sweet, Playful and Full of Energy
DOB: 5/21/26

MAPLE is a playful, active little kitten with a sweet side to match her curious spirit. She loves to explore, chase balls, climb, and stay busy with all the fun kitten things life has to offer. Though she can be shy at first, MAPLE is also very lovable.

Once she feels comfortable, you can snuggle with her and hold her for a little bit — about a minute is just right for this active baby girl! She has a gentle, sweet nature and is the kind of kitten who just needs a little patience to let her personality shine.

MAPLE is one of three adorable triplet kittens looking for their forever homes. She can be adopted individually or with one or both of her siblings. Imagine twice (or three times!) the kitten fun!

A Special Note About MAPLE:
MAPLE and her two siblings have tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). Although they are currently healthy, active, and playful kittens, FeLV can weaken a cat's immune system and may shorten their lifespan. FeLV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs, but it can spread to other cats. Because all three siblings are FeLV-positive, they can safely live together, but they should be kept indoors and live in a home without FeLV-negative cats. With proper veterinary care, a nutritious diet, and lots of love, FeLV-positive cats can enjoy happy, fulfilling lives.

If you’d like to meet MAPLE, please call Humane Haven Animal Shelter (630-378-4208) for more information or for an appointment. All Humane Haven cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, and have had their distemper and rabies vaccines.
