These handsome brothers are looking for a second chance at forever.

Leo and Simba are 2-year-old bonded brothers who were originally adopted about a year ago. Sadly, through no fault of their own, they recently found themselves back in rescue after their family welcomed a new baby who developed severe cat allergies. Their family loved them very much and making the decision to return them was heartbreaking.

Now these boys are searching for a home that will truly be forever.

Leo, the brown tabby, is the more reserved of the pair. He likes to take a minute to assess situations before jumping in, but once he’s comfortable, he absolutely loves attention and being near his people. Simba, the orange brother, has never met a situation he didn’t need to investigate immediately. If there’s activity happening, Simba WILL be involved. He’s curious, outgoing, nosy in the most lovable way, and always wants to know exactly what everyone is doing.

Together, they are pure entertainment.

The boys are extremely bonded and rely heavily on each other for comfort and confidence, so they must be adopted together. They love attention, enjoy spending time with their people, and have huge personalities that keep everyone laughing.

One thing these brothers definitely share is their love of food. They are currently very overweight, so they have officially started their wellness journey with us! They are now on a diet and being meal-fed instead of free-fed, and they are already adjusting well to their healthier routine. Their future family will need to continue helping them stay on track so they can live long, healthy lives.

Leo and Simba have never really been around other cats before, so they would likely do best either as the only cats in the home or with a family that understands slow, patient introductions will be important while they adjust.

These boys have already experienced the confusion of losing their home once. We would love nothing more than to find them a family committed to loving them for the rest of their lives — extra fluff and all.
