Meet Marbles and Jacks — two adorable 7-month-old sisters looking for a home willing to give a little extra love to a very special pair.
Their litter was lovingly named after playground games, and while all of their siblings found homes quickly, Marbles and Jacks were the only two kittens affected by a neurological condition, likely cerebellar-related, which gives them an extra-wobbly, funny little walk. The good news is that their condition is non-progressive, painless, and requires no medication or special medical care.
These girls don’t let their unique gait slow them down one bit. They love to run, chase toys, wrestle, and play just like any other kittens. Their clumsy little hops and zoomies only make them more endearing.
Because they can occasionally misjudge a step or two, carpet or rugs help give them better traction, especially around stairs. They are able to do stairs on their own, though they sometimes have goofy moments that only add to their charm.
Marbles and Jacks are wonderfully social with the cats in their foster home and would thrive together in a calm, patient environment. They would likely do best in a home with either no dogs or a quiet, respectful dog that won’t overwhelm them.
We know finding a home for special-needs cats can take time, but these girls are proof that “special needs” doesn’t mean “less than.” They are happy, affectionate, playful kittens who simply move through the world a little differently. In return for your patience and understanding, they’ll fill your home with laughter, love, and endless entertainment.
If you’ve been waiting for a pair of truly unforgettable companions, Marbles and Jacks are ready to wobble their way into your heart.
Adoption fee is $400 for the pair
