Priscilla - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Bellingham, Washington

Hi, my name is Priscilla! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Timid, affectionate, sensitive, playful
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - slow/supervised introductions recommended.
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history - Priscilla is pretty skittish, so quiet, cat savvy dogs would be best. Slow/supervised introductions recommended.
-Can Live with Kids: Might be ok with older, cat savvy kids who are respectful and quiet. Recommending 12+ at this time, up to counselor's discretion.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Highly encouraged!
-History of Litter Box Issues: No
-Energy Level: Medium/High
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, good to go!

Meet Priscilla - a timid, but affectionate cat who's looking for a quiet home with patient people to help her gain trust and confidence. Priscilla first found her way into WHS through a live trap. After realizing she was not truly feral, just scared, we were able to provide her with some very necessary vetting and lots of TLC. As she's had more and more time to decompress we're seeing that Priscilla has a spunky and playful side. We highly recommend allowing Priscilla to come out of her shell on her own terms - providing her with plenty of space and time to get used to her new home and routine. She'd love lots of high places to explore with perches next to windows to watch the birds outside. If you're interested in meeting Priscilla, please fill out an application for review.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
