Their story started in a backyard shed, where four outdoor mama cats were being cared fed by a well-meaning older gentleman. His family soon discovered 14 kittens in addition to the mom cats earlier this spring. They made sure the moms got spayed, and brought them to us. These 11 little loaves spent extra time in quarantine out of an abundance of caution because one litter of kittens from the same property had fungal infections. The good news? None of these kittens ever developed lesions, and they've all received clean fungal cultures. They're healthy, happy, and finally ready to start the lives they've been waiting for.

Because they spent their earliest weeks in a shed and then in isolation, many of these kittens are just beginning to discover how wonderful the world can be. New toys! Cozy beds! Window watching! Cat trees! Human laps! Every day is another chance for them to learn that life is full of fun and love.

Like any good assortment of bread, each kitten has their own flavor. Some are bold and adventurous, others are thoughtful observers who just need a little time to toast up to new people. But every one of them has the potential to become an amazing companion.

If you're ready to help one of these little loaves continue to rise, they're ready to show you that the good life was absolutely worth waiting for. They should go home in pairs or to a home with another cat.
