DESCRIPTION

Some bonds are simply meant to be.

Milo and Cara spent their kittenhood surviving outdoors together, spotted playing side-by-side as youngsters before life separated them. When both were finally brought to safety this winter, they were reunited after months apart—and Cara’s reaction said it all. She recognized her big brother immediately and was absolutely thrilled to have him back.

Now around a year old, these striking grey-and-white tabbies (who look more like they borrowed their outfits from a pair of tuxedo cats) are looking for a home where they can stay together forever.

Milo is the larger of the two in every sense. At a solid 13 pounds, he’s a handsome, confident boy with a big heart and an even bigger appetite. He still has some growing up to do when it comes to playtime and can occasionally forget just how large he is, but he’s learning. He loves food, toys, and wrestling sessions with Cara, and he’s happiest when he has an outlet for all that youthful energy.

Cara may be smaller, but she has no trouble making her opinions known. She’s very much a cat who likes things on her own terms. Rather than being scooped up for attention, she’d much rather be the one deciding when to make contact—and when she does choose you, it feels special. Playful, smart, and food motivated, she’s a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates feline independence.

These two need experienced cat owners who understand cat body language and can appreciate their playful, spirited personalities. Because Milo is still learning to moderate his enthusiasm, a home without young children is required.

If you’re looking for a pair with a remarkable story, endless entertainment value, and a sibling bond that has already survived life on the streets, Milo and Cara are ready to write the next chapter together—with you.

This cat can be met in their foster home by appointment for approved adopters.
