Dreamy Denim - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Stamford, Connecticut

Born to a feral mama in the Bronx, Denim and his family were rescued off the streets earlier this spring. Now that he is in a foster home, he's loving the good life.

This striking charcoal grey DMH/DML kitten is a real prize. He is a bold fellow that loves other cats and greets strangers with enthusiasm. He's still adapting to being picked up, and gets a little squirmy if you're holding him and he's nervous, but that is fading day by day as he learns to trust humans. He can be handled easily, even if he'd prefer his feet stay on the ground. Denim is curious and will explore all sorts of nooks and crannies- he will find where your dust bunnies are living!

Denim is a medium energy kitten, neither super quiet nor hyperactive. He loves to play with springs and toy mice, he loves a good wand toy, and cat trees are his jam. He's a quiet fellow, but he will back you smile all day long.

Denim loves other cats and needs to go to a home with a young cat or kitten. If you dont have one, he'd love to go home with one of his siblings. He has heard the dog in his foster home, although they haven't met. We think he'd be fine with a thoughtful introduction to a cat safe dog. Since he doesn't want to be carried around a lot right now, he's probably not a great fit for a home with young kids- he needs kids that have the awareness/impulse control to respect his preferences.

Denim will be fixed and vetted later this month, and ready to go home around July 4th. His adoption fee is $325, or $475 for the pair if adopted with a sibling. They are currently being fostered in Southern CT, but we can coordinate for travel if you are not nearby.
