DESCRIPTION
Welcome Maya Angelou, Rosa Parks & Frederick Douglass to rescue! Some cats are simply too gentle for life outdoors.Maya Angelou, Rosa Parks, and Frederick Douglass were rescued from an outdoor colony in Overland. While they were originally scheduled to be returned outside, a compassionate volunteer with Saint Louis Feral Cat Outreach recognized that these three were far too sweet and trusting to spend their lives outdoors Thanks to her kindness, they are now safe with Heartland and beginning a brand-new chapter.Named in honor of three incredible historical figures during Black History Month, these beautiful house panthers are about a year old and each have their own unique personality.**Maya** is the confident explorer of the group, always curious about what's happening around her.**Rosa** is a little more reserved at first, but once she knows she's safe, she melts into your arms for pets and cuddles.**Frederick** is just as gentle and affectionate, and he shares a special bond with Rosa. We'd love to see those two find a forever home together. All three have incredibly silky, luxurious coats and adore gentle pets, brushing, cuddles, and kisses. They also do well with other cats and would likely be happiest in a quieter home where they can continue to blossom at their own pace. After spending the past year surviving outside, it's finally their turn to experience the comfort, love, and safety they have always deserved.Welcome to rescue, Maya, Rosa, and Frederick—we're so glad you're here!
