Mistletoe’s rescue journey began in a very sad way. She was found with her deceased owner and had been there for some time—far too long. Sadly, the family did not want any of the animals, and they were taken to animal control. Thankfully, animal control reached out to us, and of course, we said yes to helping Mistletoe.Once she arrived, Mistletoe received a much-needed bath and a full veterinary exam. She was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and was not yet spayed. She completed her treatment like a champ, was spayed once she was feeling better, and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home. Mistletoe is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves pets and enjoys playtime. One of her favorite pastimes is stretching out in warm sunbeams, soaking up the sunshine. She likes toys, attention, and being near her people.With a proper introduction, Mistletoe would do well with another cat and may also be okay with a cat-friendly dog.You can meet this sunshine-loving girl at the PetSmart in O’Fallon
