Meet Sadie! A Senior Sweetheart Deserving of a Second Chance!

Sweet Sadie is 13 years young, and through no fault of her own, her world has been turned upside down. After spending so many years with her beloved guardian, Sadie recently came to The Pet Refuge when her human had to move into a nursing home. Imagine how confusing and heartbreaking it must be to lose the home and person you’ve known for so long.

Despite this enormous change, Sadie has maintained a wonderful attitude. She is a sweet girl who is adjusting to shelter life the best she can, and we are so proud of her. We are slowly introducing her to other friendly felines, but right now, Sadie would prefer to have her own space away from other cats. And that's okay! She deserves the time and patience to find her comfort zone.

At 13, Sadie still has so much life and love left to give! She deserves a cozy bed, a peaceful home, gentle affection, and someone who will cherish her golden years. Her story has changed, but we believe her happiest chapter could still be ahead of her.
