At 8 years old, Max’s world was turned upside down when her guardians had to move and she found herself at The Pet Refuge. She arrived with her friend, Alexa, but as time passed, it became clear that the two weren’t bonded. We recently gave Max the opportunity to have her own space, and what a difference it has made!

Max has completely come out of her shell, and we couldn’t be happier to see her blossoming. This sweet girl loves attention and is showing us just how much love she has to give. Sometimes, all a cat needs is a little room to be herself!

We believe Max would be happiest as the **only cat in her forever home**, where she can soak up all the love, attention, and affection her heart desires. She deserves a cozy bed, sunny windows to watch the world go by, and humans who will make her the center of their world.

Max has already experienced a big change in her life, and now we want her next chapter to be filled with comfort, security, and unconditional love.
