He’s 2 years old, fixed, up to date on all shots! No health issues. Feliv+ negative
He is very shy and timid. Originally we had him with another cat, but the storms back in February really terrified him and they got into a fight and he has lost his confidence around other animals.
He’s never been around dogs but considering he doesn’t do well with hyper, I’d say that’s a no. I have small nieces, and while he’s never shown aggression towards them, he’s scared of them because they’re loud and tend to run up on him and it scares him. So I don’t think he’d do well in a home with small children due to he’s just shy and timid.
He loves attention and pets on his chin. He’s vocal about being fed and loves chilling and laying in the sun. He will curl up and nap in the room with you while you’re reading or gaming. He’s just laid back and calm, not hyper at all.
He’s truly not aggressive at all, he just got scared and the vet thinks he really just got traumatized and lost his confidence and now he feels insecure. We did work with for a couple months and it did seem to change, so he may need someone to really be patient with him and give him time to adjust.
If he struggles too much. His caregiver will absolutely take him back before he goes to a shelter because he will never thrive in a shelter. He would be completely petrified
