Tipper - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Brookings, South Dakota

Meet Tipper! This handsome orange-and-white long-haired boy is about a year old, and he may be missing an eye and a leg, but he certainly hasn’t let that slow him down. Tipper is a shy guy who takes a little time to feel comfortable, but once he knows you’re safe, his favorite place is right next to you. He is an absolute snugglebug who loves curling up with his people and soaking up all the affection he can get.

Tipper is looking for a patient home where he can take things at his own pace and continue building his confidence. Give him a little time, some gentle attention, and a cozy spot to curl up, and you’ll discover just how sweet this special boy really is.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
