She can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her playful side really comes to life. Toffee would much rather chase a toy or pounce around than be held for long periods she’s an independent spirit who prefers interaction on her own terms.

With patience and a gentle touch, Toffee will warm up and show you her sweet, fun-loving personality. She’s looking for a home that will let her explore, play, and build trust at her own pace.

***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states. 

Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. 

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.

Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and  flea/tick prevention.

Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian.
