DESCRIPTION
Meet Prism, a beautiful senior kitty who had quite the journey reaching Second Chance. She was one of 24 cats rescued from home that flooded. Brave emergency personnel used a boat to complete the rescue. Some of the cats came to Second Chance and others were taken in by other rescues.
Prism is a lovebug. She enjoys pets and seeks human affection. She is quiet, calm, and downright adorable. She was very brave during her rescue and considering the state of some of her housemates came out relatively unscathed. Her traumatic journey now over, she is ready for a home dedicated to keeping her safe and nurtured.
Prism would be great for a single person or couple, especially an adopter looking for a couch buddy. Prism would do well in a home with older respectful kids. prism is good with her roommates but doesn't necessarily need a cat friend.
Prism has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Prism has an approximate birthdate of 04/19/2014. Her adoption fee is $95.
If you are interested in Prism or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.
Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
Thank you!
