âť—GETTING TO KNOW ME
Faye is a stunning, athletic Bengal in the prime of her life. She is looking for a home that appreciates the energy, intelligence, and lively personality that make Bengals such special companions.
She is smart, active, attentive, and wonderfully confident. Faye loves to chat, chase toys, and be part of the action. She prefers not to be confined or overhandled, and she does have a strong prey drive.
Watching Faye is like seeing poetry in motion. She is graceful, muscular, and almost always on the move. Because she is so bright and curious, she will thrive with a family that can offer daily playtime and lots of interactive toys. She is also delightfully entertaining on her own—she will toss a ball into the air, catch it, and happily bat toys across the room. One of her favorite games is stalking wand toys and stuffed toys, and she will come with her beloved stuffed bunny from her foster home. She captures it daily!
Faye enjoys being around her people, but like many Bengals, she has an independent streak. She is not a lap cat and does not enjoy being cuddled or carried, but she does appreciate petting and gentle scratches. She can be placed in a carrier without difficulty. If she ever needs medication, her new family should plan to work closely with their veterinarian to find the easiest approach.
Faye knows how to stand up for herself. Because of her strong chase and prey drive, she would be happiest in a home without a timid or passive cat. Small mammals in the home may also not be a safe fit for her.
She will happily remind you if breakfast or dinner is running late. Faye also has excellent litter box habits. She does best with a tall, large litter box, since she loves to dig and may kick a little litter outside the box during her excavations.
Currently Faye enjoys Honest Kitchen dehydrated wet food and a large open litter box with unscented clumping litter.
Her ideal family is one that has familiarity with Bengals or other active, independent, intelligent breeds. Teenage children would be fine, another strong, independent cat or dog would likely be okay with appropriate, slow introductions.
âť—VETTING PROVIDED
Faye is spayed, vet examined, and ready for adoption. She is vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/FELV. She is microchipped. Medical records will be provided upon completion of the adoption.
