Purebred Ragdoll; 9 years old; spayed female; seal point; claws intact; blue eyes; ten pounds

❗GETTING TO KNOW ME
Francis (Frannie) is a thick and gorgeous seal point ragdoll. She is looking for a home that offers her plenty of lap time, willingly accepts her kisses and provides lots of sustenance. A confident girl, she will want to be front and center among any other pets in the home.

Currently in a comfortable lion cut, Francis has a super thick coat that will mat readily. She does not appreciate grooming but does love to strut around swishing her thick mane and tail in her fashionable lion cut. We found that a sedated shave provided at one of our clinics worked out best for her. She has stunning blue eyes that capture the sun and twinkle with delight.

This middle-aged queen knows what she likes. Frannie will meet you at the door, chat for a few minutes to tell you about her day and expect you to plunk in your favorite recliner so she can snuggle into your lap. She is also first in line for food. Her thick body reveals her love for food. She should be schedule fed because she does overindulge which results in vomiting. Feeding her a good diet of her Honest Kitchen dehydrated food twice a day with a small bit of kibble for snacking will deter her overeating and curtail her vomiting.

Do not let her relaxing style fool you. She does love to play! Zoomies around the room, up and down on her cat tree and slamming a ball in her toy donut are daily occurrences. She will play with other cats who are confident and robust. Francis can be a bit sassy with cats who are more shy or less confident. PurrHarmony has several other ragdolls in foster care at present who would make wonderful companions for Francis should you be interested in a pair.

Francis would be just fine as an only pet in a quieter household too. She can also live with a confident cat or two especially if she is given first dibs for lap time. Children who are accustomed to living with pets and are respectful would be fine. Those who are not cat savvy or young and unable to appropriately handle a pet like this will not be a good fit.

Frannie is perfect with her litter box. She has large open boxes with unscented, clumping litter that are scooped multiple times a day. Upon adoption Frannie should have her own room and safe space until she has decompressed and comfortable with the move. Taking time to do this ensures a successful transition for you and her.


❗VETTING PROVIDED
Francis is spayed, vet examined, and ready for adoption. She is vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/FELV. She has had a dental with extractions. She is microchipped. Medical records will be provided upon completion of the adoption.

❗LOCATION AND ADOPTION
Francis is fostered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Her adoption fee is $300.

PurrHarmony, Inc. does not transport or ship cats, but long-distance adopters are welcome. Adopters must travel to the foster home or to the airport nearest to the foster home, at the foster parent’s discretion. Pick-up is expected within two weeks of acceptance to adopt.
