Snuggly lovebug sibling pair Little Bear and Blueberry - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in Stamford, Connecticut

Little Bear and Blueberry are a super sweet and perfectly easygoing brother and sister duo who are about 9 months old. These two were born in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City and found crying in a cardboard box on the street. They were thankfully rescued and are now ready for their forever home!

Little Bear is a big boy with adorable chunky paws and a single tuft of white on his chest. Although he is very handsome and dignified, at heart he is just a big teddy bear. He is a huge sweetheart with a gentle demeanor and loves to rub up against your legs, enjoys being pet, and likes to greet you when he sees you! He also enjoys being held - he will just curl up and tuck his head under your chin and start purring immediately. He even likes to give kisses and get tummy rubs, and shows signs of becoming a lap cat. One of his favorite activities is sitting on the windowsill and looking out the window at all the birds and squirrels sitting in the trees, but he also very much appreciates a good hidey-hole or tunnel. Little Bear is a bit shy and timid at first, and might benefit from a quieter environment - at least until he gets comfortable.

Blueberry is a bolder and more petite kitty than her brother. She warms up quickly and wants to explore, starts asking for pets, and wants to play and spend time with her humans right away. While Blueberry is not a huge lap cat, she very much enjoys human company and would probably spend a lot of time curled up nearby or next to her humans. She also really loves attention and will head butt you and make adorable little chirping sounds to give her more pets! She also likes to be picked up - perhaps in part because it gives her a great vantage point to see new things! Blueberry is a very curious kitty, who is always looking for new places to explore and discover. She loves to climb and would therefore appreciate a nice cat tree or window bed. She also really loves stretching out to take naps in the sunshine and would love a cozy blanket or bed in a sunny spot.

Little Bear and Blueberry are a bonded pair, who love to sleep and snuggle together, play together, sit in the window together, and lounge around near each other. They are good with other cats and although we don't know for sure, may also be good with calmer, well trained dogs. They will need a quiet space to acclimate to their new home, and may benefit from a home without young children - older, calmer children may be a great fit however! They are both very neat, calm, and well-behaved young kitties.

Little Bear and Blueberry are litter box-trained, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv negative, and have received regular anti-tick/flea/parasite preventatives.
