I’m Sunday. I was the oldest of us — just a year old — and when our people left and the house went silent, I knew I had to be the one to keep everyone safe. Blossom and Rosalie were so small, and Tulibee — my sweet sister — looked to me for what to do next. None of us understood why the food stopped coming or why the door never opened again.
