Blackey - American Bobtail Cat for Adoption in Gainesville, Virginia

Meet Blacky!

Tiny tail, big personality, and a whole lot of cuteness!

Blacky is an adorable male American Bobtail mix kitten with beautiful black and white markings, big curious eyes, and the sweetest little face!

Born around August 12, 2026, Blacky is still just a baby with plenty of growing, playing, and exploring ahead of him. One of his most unique features is his naturally short, bobbed tail!

Blacky was found as a stray in Texas alongside his brother, Whitey. Thanks to their rescuer, these two little boys are getting a second chance at finding loving forever homes!

Blacky is expected to arrive in our care in the Northern Virginia area around Halloween weekend and will be available to go to his forever home starting November 16, 2026, provided he is medically cleared.

We are currently accepting applications for pre-adoption, and approved adopters may secure him with a deposit before his arrival!

As a young kitten, Blacky will need a family ready for all the fun, curiosity, playtime, and occasional mischief that comes with raising a kitten.

Interested in adopting Blacky? The first step is completing an adoption application. Applications must be approved before scheduling adoption arrangements.
