About Teckels
The teckel, also known as the dachshund, is a charming and intelligent breed hailing from Germany. Renowned for their distinctive elongated bodies and short legs, teckels were originally bred for hunting, particularly to track and flush out burrow dwelling animals. With three coat types smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired teckels come in various colors. Their playful and fearless nature, coupled with their loyalty and affectionate demeanor, make teckels wonderful companions for families and individuals alike.
