The Plott is a fearless and dedicated hunting dog known for its stamina and determination in tracking game in the rugged terrain of the Appalachian Mountains. Originally bred in North Carolina by the Plott family, these medium to large sized hounds are renowned for their loyalty, intelligence, and strong hunting instincts. Their distinctive brindle coat and muscular build make them easily recognizable, while their friendly and affectionate nature endears them to families as loyal companions as well.
