Meet Rubble! This amazing girl was transferred to us from South Bend, IN in May 2026 where she was found abandoned "in the rubble" as a stray. Shortly after she came to us, we found that she had a severely infected abscess in her dewlap that required months of tedious, uncomfortable and stressful treatments. She has been such a fighter through it all and while she is a sassy princess, she is a lover at heart and wants nothing more than to cuddle next to you on the couch, follow you around from room to room, beg for snacks and flop for naptime. During her recovery, we discovered that she had been hit several times with airgun pellets and BBs and had a broken leg that has healed. We can't imagine the horrors she endured but she is keeping the past behind her and looking towards a bright future in a loving home!
Rubble is approximately 1-2 years old and is a gorgeous silver fox. She is a large size rabbit at about 6 pounds. She is curious but protective of her space, especially when it comes to sharing it with other rabbits. With time, Rubble could be ready to live as a bonded pair with a male rabbit but for now, she prefers the company of humans. Rubble is looking to live as a free-roaming rabbit in a rabbit-proofed home. She can be contained in a large pen but would prefer to be free-roamed for most of her time. Her adoption fee includes RHDV2 vaccination, spay surgery and microchip. Rubble is ready to meet you and be your best friend! Please fill out our adoption questionnaire to get started :)
