*This bunny has his first vaccine for RHDV**
Breed: Holland lop
Size: about 4 lbs
DOB: About 1 year old as of May 2026
Reason in rescue: Bartholomew came here from another shelter with a group of other buns that needed a safe place to land! We got him neutered and vaccinated and now he’s ready to find a home!
Personality: Bartholomew came in a bit of a hot mess lol. He was uneutered, hormonal, and just didn’t care about staying clean or not making a mess everywhere lol. Now that he’s neutered he’s starting to figure all that out but is still a work in progress! He likes to slop around in his water bowl and then eat his pellets. Including that, he is an absolute joyous boy who revels in everything he comes across. He’s friendly, happy, loves to binky, loves attention and petting and doesn’t mind being picked up. As his hormones fully settle, we expect him to be a very good boy! He’s a typical brachy rabbit breed who snores when he sleeps but his teeth and ears are great and give him no problems! He’d be great for a family when he settles down all the way.
Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female (giving him a month after his neuter for his hormones to dissipate).
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $70 which includes his neuter, first vaccine, and microchip. Adoption fee will change to $100 when he receives his second vaccine on 6/5.
