Fluffy - Holland Lop and Mini Rex Rabbit for Adoption in Erin, Ontario

Meet Fluffy – A Special Bunny Looking for a Special Home!
Fluffy is a very special bunny looking for a loving home with an adopter who understands his unique needs and is ready to give him the care, patience and understanding he deserves.
Fluffy is blind, but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy a happy and fulfilling life! With a safe, consistent environment and an adopter who understands how to support a blind rabbit, Fluffy can continue to explore his world using his other senses.
The Right Home for Fluffy
We are seeking an adopter who is prepared to provide a safe, predictable environment, approach Fluffy gently, and make accommodations to help him feel secure. To support his individual needs, we are recommending that Fluffy be the only rabbit in the home.
Important Medical Disclosure
Fluffy's blindness is believed to be potentially associated with exposure to Encephalitozoon cuniculi (E. cuniculi), a parasite that can affect rabbits and may cause neurological and eye-related complications. However, Fluffy has not been confirmed positive for E. cuniculi, and this remains a possible explanation rather than a confirmed diagnosis.
Potential adopters must understand that the underlying cause of Fluffy's blindness has not been definitively established. We strongly encourage anyone considering adopting Fluffy to research E. cuniculi, rabbit blindness, and the potential care needs and medical considerations associated with these conditions. We also encourage prospective adopters to discuss their questions with a rabbit-experienced veterinarian before making an adoption decision.
Our goal is to ensure Fluffy finds a home that is fully informed, prepared for his individual needs, and committed to providing him with lifelong care.
Could you be the special person Fluffy has been waiting for?
Fluffy is available for adoption through Upper Credit Humane Society.
