Hi this is Lyla! She is a 5-year-old Hound mix with a cropped tail. She has short-medium length fur and weighs 22kg.
Lyla is a very loving and playful gal. She loves to play with other dogs but plays very hard for a dog her size. She is a mid-energy dog, She loves to run with toys in her mouth and she is very fast. She has no fear of any other dogs but not cats. She is a hound mix and the vet advised that her tail to be cropped. Lyla will follow her nose so a minimum of a 6-foot high wooden fully fenced yard would benefit her. She loves car rides but would need to be buckled in.
Lyla loves people and is very affectionate. She does not have any trust issues.
Lyla will make a very loyal member to her family.
ABOUT: COONHOUND DOG BREED
The Coonhound is a versatile and athletic breed known for its exceptional hunting abilities and loyalty. With a strong sense of smell and impressive tracking skills, Coonhounds are often used for hunting raccoons and other game. This breed is friendly, outgoing, and makes a devoted companion for an active family. Coonhounds come in different varieties, including the Black and Tan Coonhound, Redbone Coonhound, and Treeing Walker Coonhound, each with its own unique characteristics and qualities.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
