Vana is an adorable, sweet, gentle-mannered little girl who is patiently waiting for her forever home. She’ll run over for pets, gently settle beside you, then do a dramatic little rolly flop if the vibes are especially immaculate. She’s still young and only recently starting to fully come out of her shell, which makes it really exciting to imagine how much more playful and expressive she’ll become with time and security.
She prefers a calm environment over a loud one, and appreciates having a cozy place to hide when she needs quiet time. Vana tolerates short periods of handling well, but she much prefers to spend time with you at ground level.
She loves enrichment activities and lounging in her favorite spot. Her favorite things are puzzle toys, forage boxes, and her treat tree. She also loves chewing wooden toys and sticks. Most of her day is spent peacefully relaxing in cool cozy spots or stretched out on an elevated surfaces where she can observe the world around her. She’s only recently started doing binkies and playful flops as she’s come out of her shell more, and it’s been incredibly sweet watching her confidence grow.
Vana has perfect litter habits, is trusted to free roam her foster home, and has done well with children, dogs, and cats. Loud dogs or children can make her a bit nervous though, so having quiet hiding spaces where she can retreat helps her feel secure.
She would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands rabbits need time to adjust and build trust. In return, she’s the kind of bunny who becomes a deeply comforting companion. She’s gentle, well-mannered, emotionally sweet, and impossible not to love. Learn more about adoption at www.iowarabbitrescue.org/adopt
