Habanero is a bit of a mystery.
We've been trying to figure this little man out for quite some time now, and honestly, we think he enjoys keeping us guessing.
He's absolutely adorable. Very inquisitive. Impeccably tidy. Loves his food.
People? Ehhh.
Habanero is still pretty nervous around humans. He's curious about what you're doing, but he'd prefer you didn't make a big production out of acknowledging his existence.
Think black cat energy in a world full of golden retrievers.
We've also tried introducing him to several potential bunny friends and, so far, he hasn't been particularly interested.
Maybe we just haven't found his person. Or his rabbit. Or maybe Habanero has decided that Habanero is excellent company.
We respect that.
He's not the bunny who's going to immediately jump into your lap and demand attention. He needs someone patient who understands that building trust takes time.
To me, there's something really endearing about him.
He's a neat little gentleman who appreciates a good meal, enjoys investigating his surroundings and would like everyone to stop making decisions on his behalf.
We think there's a family out there who will absolutely adore his independent little personality.
If you've ever loved a cat who acted like you were merely a tenant in their home, Habanero might be your kind of rabbit.
