Romeo - Flemish Giant Rabbit for Adoption in San Diego, California

Pellets: 1/4 cup Oxbow Essentials Adult Rabbit Food (AM)
Hay: Unlimited mixed timothy and orchard hay (all day)
Salad: 2x/day 1 cup Romaine Lettuce, Parsley, Cilantro, Spring Mix (AM and PM)

Romeo is an incredibly friendly and affectionate boy who loves attention. He will happily nudge you for pets, and if you stop too soon, don't be surprised if he follows you around to remind you that he wasn't finished! Once you sit down with him, Romeo will melt right into your lap and soak up all the pets you're willing to give.

This big guy likes to be greeted with pets on his head and body when you enter his pen. He can get a little impatient if he doesn't get his hello pets, and may give a quick nip to let you know how he feels. Once the pets begin, though, he is all about the attention. Romeo is also very forgiving and doesn't hold a grudge.

Romeo is a wonderful hay eater, has good litterbox habits, and enjoys grazing on his pellets and salad throughout the day. Romaine, parsley and cilantro are some of his favorites. When he isn't busy soaking up attention, he enjoys stacking cups, Hop 'N Flop, dried willow wreaths and chew toys made of willow.

Like many rabbits, Romeo does not enjoy being picked up and will struggle quite a bit when handled this way. He is much happier keeping all four feet on the ground, where he can follow you around, explore his space and come over for affection.

Romeo is a big, lovable ball of fluff who will happily become your shadow once he decides you're his person. If you're looking for a rabbit who will make sure you never forget to give him his daily dose of pets, Romeo may be your guy!
