BEAN (BONDED TO SPROUT)

Holland Lop
🇺🇸
San Diego, California
September 4th
female, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Pellets: 1/4 cup Oxbow Essentials Adult Rabbit Food (AM)
Hay: Unlimited mixed timothy and orchard hay (all day)

Meet Bean, the spirited big sister of the duo! At 3 years old, Bean is an extremely active explorer who is equal parts agile and delightfully clumsy. She loves having access to every inch of space available to her, whether she is doing laps around the room or squeezing herself into cozy tight spots like the underside of the sofa. While she enjoys being around people and being part of the action, she prefers a "look, don't touch" relationship with her humans: she isn't cuddly and currently prefers not to be pet or handled. Instead, she saves all her affection for her best friend, Sprout.

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. The virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit. Please make sure to vaccinate your rabbits every year. For more information, please visit our website at: https://sandiegorabbits.org/education/rhdv
