Meet Rachel - A Tiny Heart Learning to Let Love In

Rachel is a 5-pound Yorkie with a sweet spirit, a curious nature, and a heart that very much wants to be loved. She's still learning to trust people, but you can already see how much she wants to make that connection.

Rachel will cautiously approach the humans around her, curious about who they are and what they might have to offer. She's not quite ready to throw herself into someone's arms, but there's a sweetness in the way she comes closer that tells you she wants affection-she's simply learning that it's safe to accept it.

Outside is one of Rachel's happy places. She loves spending time in the fresh air, exploring her surroundings, and finding a warm patch of sunshine where she can relax and enjoy the day.

Rachel also loves other dogs and enjoys their companionship. She could do well as the only dog with a patient family ready to give her plenty of love, or she would be very happy sharing her home with a friendly canine companion.

This perfect little girl just needs someone willing to give her the time to trust completely. With patience, gentleness, and plenty of love, Rachel will continue discovering that getting close to people can lead to some pretty wonderful things.
