Cocoa came to us as an owner surrender - his dad had Alzheimers and his mom had an accident that left her unable to care for Cocoa. Although he's a senior dog, he has made the transition into the rescue much more easily than miight be expected.
He does have an issue with a collapsing trachea and is on medication that helps with that. On the medication, he is a happy, playful, energetic dog who loves running around in the yard. He also loves cuddling and enjoys time with his foster mom and dad going out and about with them.
Cocoa still has a considerable amount of pep in his step. He will be a loyal and loving companion.
