Hi, my name is Buttons and I'm from White Earth Nation (MN Reservation).

Buttons is a sweet little lady in her golden years, and she's ready to settle in to your home. She's not looking for a lot of fuss, just a warm lap, a predictable schedule, and people to love. Buttons has so much love left to give, and she deserves a soft place to land for good.

She's a creature of routine and happiest when her days follow a gentle rhythm. Her favorite parts are mealtime and treats (she loves finding them in her snuffle toy!). She appreciates a good cuddle with her people and if you offer her a cozy blanket she'll settle in like she's always belonged there.

Buttons is crate trained and house trained, and she sleeps through the night, so she's an easy, low-maintenance companion. Her walks are leisurely, with plenty of stops to sniff every corner of the neighborhood.

From the vet:
Buttons has been evaluated by The BB Rescue Medical Team and it has been determined that a Dental COHAT (Complete Oral Health Assessment and Treatment) will be pursued/covered by The Bond Between while in rescue or part of an adoption contract. This means Buttons will be scheduled with The BB Rescue Medical Team or an External Surgery Partner for a surgery where a veterinarian and support staff will put the animal under anesthesia, perform dental radiographs, scaling/cleaning and possibly extractions if determined necessary. A foster/adopter should be prepared to manage the animal post operatively. This may or may not include administering oral medications and adjusting to a soft food diet temporarily. If part of an adoption contract, Surgery, 1 Recheck appointment and 1 round of medications associated with the surgery will be covered.

Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
