Goldie D71459 - Yellow Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Hi, my name is Goldie and I am from Arkansas!

Goldie is such a sweet, loving girl! She is potty trained, knows how to sit and sleeps in her kennel overnight with just the slightest yip of protest. She is food motivated and that has helped her pick things up quickly, she loves her treats and tries hard to earn them!

Goldie is new to house-living and still working on learning house manners. She is always very excited to be with her humans and can get a little jumpy and pawing for attention. She lives with teenagers and does good with them, she will bark and then relax once she smells them. She has not been around younger kids.
Goldie was in a shelter environment and had some big feels about sharing her new home with the resident dog. Right now they are still separate and doing slow intros. I think besides here, she is good with dogs.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.

The Yellow Labrador Retriever breed is renowned for its friendly temperament, intelligence, and versatility. Known for their stunning yellow coats, these dogs are loyal family companions and excellent working dogs. With a strong retrieving instinct, they excel in various activities such as hunting, service work, and competitive sports. Yellow Labs are highly trainable and adaptable, making them popular choices for families, individuals, and organizations seeking a loving and reliable canine companion.
