Meet Gem!

Gem is a 9-year-old Yorkie who weighs just 5 pounds—but don’t let her tiny size fool you! This little girl has plenty of spunk and personality.

Gem came into rescue when her owner became hospitalized. She has had a dental and is ready to find a loving home of her own. She seems to do well with both dogs and cats and walks nicely on a leash. We don’t yet know how she would do with children. This girl can also be vocal so no apartments for this lady!

Gem will need a little refresher on house training as she settles into her new home. She also doesn’t enjoy being confined, so she’ll do best with a family that can give her the freedom and companionship she craves. Gem is fostering in Tempe and meet and greets will need to happen at her foster home.
