Meet Carlitos


This tiny gentleman is Carlitos, a sweet little Yorkshire Terrier mix with the softest black and brown coat and an even softer heart. He came to CAMO Rescue as an owner surrender after his elderly owner could no longer care for him, and while that transition was difficult, Carlitos has remained nothing but gentle, loving, and kind.

Carlitos is at least 12 years old and weighs just 11 pounds. He may be a senior, but his spirit is tender and trusting, and he quickly warms up once he feels safe. He has a calm, quiet nature and simply wants to be near people who will love him gently.

His vision isn't the best, but he gets around well and finds comfort in familiar routines and soft reassurance. Carlitos is also pee pad trained, as he was once an indoor dog. He is very quiet and rarely barks, making him an easy little shadow to have in the home

One of his favorite things? Snuggling up in a nice cozy bed and curling in for a peaceful nap.

This sweet boy is now looking for his forever soft landing-a calm, loving home where he can finally feel peace, feel safe, and be cherished for the rest of his golden years. After losing the only home he knew, Carlitos deserves nothing less than love, comfort, and stability

Adoption fee is: $200

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
