Zarah OGU - Yorkshire Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
ZARAH OGU
Yorkshire Terrier, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Elk Grove Village, Illinois
June 12th
female, small, baby
DESCRIPTION
Zarah is a young bundle of energy, and was given up by her owner, through no fault of her own. They decided they didn’t have enough time for her. Zarah doesn’t bring the party; she IS the party. Playful, spirited, feisty and just wonderfully lovable (along with being so darn cute). Due to all the changes in her young life, we are still working on her housebreaking and crate training, but she is pad trained. She absolutely needs another small dog with her energy level to play with. Since she is so tiny, she’d probably be best with school aged and older kids. Since she is still a young puppy, someone should be home with her and not leave her by herself for long periods. She can walk through the standard dog gates poles, so it is best she be with a family familiar with small breeds and their needs. She is very smart and interested in everything going on. She loves being with her people. She is great with the fosters’ small and medium dogs. Large and older dogs may not be interested in her exuberance for life! She barks appropriately and is pretty quiet unless the doorbell rings or she wants your attention!
This is a Pay It Forward dog. This means the adoption donation of $800 will help to save another pup needing rescue and vetting. If you are interested in this dog, please complete an adoption application.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as Yorkie, is a small and glamorous toy dog breed known for its long, flowing coat and spirited personality. Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
