Bentley - Yorkshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Charlotte, North Carolina

Bentley is a 3-year-old, 12-ish lb Yorkie who has already come a long way. He came to FurBabies from a backyard breeder in pretty rough shape. He was covered in fleas and had lost most of his beautiful coat due to severe flea dermatitis.
Thankfully, with some TLC, good care, and lots of love, Bentley is starting to get his fluff back—and we have a feeling he is going to be one absolutely gorgeous little guy!
When Bentley first arrived, he was very fearful and unsure of people and his new surroundings. He is slowly learning that people can be kind and that he is safe, and we're seeing more of his sweet personality as he becomes comfortable and familiar with being around people.
Bentley will need a patient, loving family who will give him the time he needs to build confidence and trust. He will do best in a home without young children, where things are calm and he can continue to blossom at his own pace.
This little guy has been through enough. Now he's ready for someone who will show him just how wonderful life can be.
