Meet Mae West!
With a name like Mae West, you should be expecting a little sass and you’ll get it! Mae West is a beautiful 5-6 year old Yorkie mix. She is approximately 14 lbs. Her life started in rescue by being left tied to vet clinic porch as a very young dog. She was extremely scared and could barely be touched. It is horrible what some of these babies go through before we get them.
She has been in rescue with a loving foster for 5 years now, and has come a long long way. It still takes some time for her to acclimate to new people so she will need someone with patience who is willing to give her time to settle in. Once she loves you, she is very sweet and affectionate. She gets along with other dogs once acclimated to them. She pays no attention to cats. Mae needs time and patience so would do best in a quiet mature home.
Mae was originally rescued in Memphis TN but has been transported to a foster in New England. Her adoption donation is 300$ which covers her previous transport and vetting. Mae is healthy, up to date on shots and HW preventative. She is spayed and housebroken.
