Meet Thunder!!!

Thunder is a one year old heeler mix who weighs 32 pounds. He was dumped at a vets office and we were asked to help. He landed in a wonderful foster home and he’s doing great!!

From his foster mom:

Thumper is a better name for Thunder!! There’s nothing stormy about him. He is so easy going & just a sweet, sweet little boy. He sleeps on his back often. Plays chase with Cady, his Bestie. They run like the wind. He hit a puddle of water, when I was washing kennels, & went down like going down a slippy slide. He doesn’t care too much for toys. Is not a chewer. Prefers to push his bed into a corner & sleep on the cool floor. Doesn’t soil his kennel. He is sensitive to a raised voice. The slightest opportunity to not trust you, and he is standing back...not coming when called, etc. I’ve learned lots about self-discipline with these animals. Noises are not rescue-animal approved. But, he is quite forgiving. Once trust is restored, he’s under my feet. Jumping on me. I’m working on the jumping. His vertical jump is over 6 feet. I have 6-ft panels & when he jumps, I can see his head over the top but he does not jump out of the fence...not even the 5-ft fence.

Thunder is neutered, HW negative, up to date on shots and ready to find his family!

Thunder is in TN but will be transported to New England for adoption. The adoption fee is $550 and that includes a health certificate and transport to New England.
