Meet Daphne!

Hi, I’m Daphne, a 3-year-old, 13-pound little sweetheart who is looking for someone to love me forever! I was found as a stray in New Mexico, and while I’m not sure how I ended up on my own, I’m pretty sure I was meant to end up in someone’s lap.

We think I’m a Yorkie/Smooth Fox Terrier mix, and I’m basically the perfect combination of cute, cuddly, and just a little bit scruffy! My head is wonderfully soft and non-shedding, while my back has that adorable wiry terrier coat that sheds a little—so apparently I couldn’t decide which hairstyle I wanted and went with both.

I’m very sweet and loving, and one of my favorite things in the whole world is snuggling with my people. I can be a little nervous when I first meet someone new, but give me just a little time and I’ll warm up quickly. Once I know you’re a friend, I’m all about the love!

I’m also very good with other dogs. I have a submissive, easygoing personality and would happily share my space with canine friends.
