Willowmina - Wirehaired Terrier Dog for Adoption

Hi! I'm Willowmina, but my friends and family call me Willow. 💕

I'm a sweet and affectionate girl with a calm, quiet side and a playful streak that might surprise you! I love racing around the house and wrestling with my two foster brothers. After playtime, I'm happy to snuggle up next to my person on the couch or lounge on my own while you do your thing.

Here's what makes me ME:

🌺 I love being close to my person. You're sitting on the couch? I'm right there beside you!

🌺 Hugs, anyone? I'm pretty tall when I stand on my hind legs, and I love greeting you with hugs when you come home. Consider yourself warned! 🤗

🌺 I love playing with my foster brothers and would enjoy having a doggy sibling (or two) to keep me company.

🌺 Walks? Yes, please! I enjoy getting out and exploring, though I'm still working on my leash manners. And if I spot a squirrel, you'd better hold on tight! I haven't quite decided if they're playmates or snacks. 🐿️

🌺 Potty training? I've got that covered! No accidents here.

🌺 I'm learning my basic commands and am expected to catch on quickly. A smart girl like me has a reputation to maintain!

🌺 My breed? I was identified as a Giant Schnauzer, but my foster family thinks I look more like a mini Irish Wolfhound. Personally, I think the mysterious look suits me just fine. 😉

🌺 Cats and young children? My foster family hasn't figured that one out yet, so we'll need to learn more about that together.

I'm a pretty easygoing girl who hasn't met a stranger she doesn't like. I love a little adventure, a lot of affection, and having my people nearby.
