Hi… my name is Mo.

I’m a small boy… just 14 months old a terrier mix and about 13 pounds.
Mostly black, with a few little white hairs—like tiny reminders that even dark places can have light.

I’m already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and house-trained.
I made the long journey from Southern California to my foster home in Ridgefield, WA… still hoping that my real family is out there. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential adopter for me.

Not too long ago, my world changed in a way I didn’t understand.

I was left behind…
dumped at a shelter in Southern California with my two brothers.
One day we had a home… and the next, we didn’t.

I remember feeling confused.
Waiting… watching… hoping that maybe they would come back for us.

But they never did.

Since then, I’ve been trying to understand this new world.
It’s a little scary sometimes… so yes, I can be shy when we first meet.

I just need a little time…
a little patience…
and someone gentle enough to show me that I’m safe again.

Because once I trust you…
you’ll see who I really am.

A calm, sweet boy who doesn’t bark much.
A quiet little soul who just wants to be close to his person.
And yes… a bit of a goofball too.

I love to follow you around… just to be near you.
If you move, I’ll come with you.
If you sit, I’ll be right there.

Not because I have to…
but because being near you will mean everything to me.

I have that little terrier spark—curious, playful, and full of life—
but also a soft heart that just wants to feel safe and loved.

Maybe… it’s you.
