Hi… my name is Pinto.
Some people call me Pinto Bean, and I kind of like that — it sounds warm and comforting, like the kind of thing you hold close.

I’m 4 years old and only 10 pounds, a little Chihuahua / Miniature Pinscher mix chocolate-brown guy with soft light-brown “eyebrows,” a white patch on my chest, and an underbite that makes people smile before they even realize they’ve fallen for me. I don’t mind. If my smile makes your day brighter, then it’s doing its job.

I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy, but the thing I want most isn’t found in a medical chart.
It’s found in a family…
a lap…
a warm voice…
a safe place to rest my head.

I traveled from Southern California to Ridgefield, WA to live with my foster family and can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential adopter for me. My adoption fee is $800USD

I enjoy calm moments, soft voices, and simply being near the people I care about. Sometimes love doesn’t need to shout — sometimes it just sits beside you and stays.

I get along well with other dogs and enjoy peaceful companionship. I’m happiest curled up for cozy naps, soaking in gentle affection, or following you quietly from room to room just to make sure I don’t miss anything important — like you.

What I dream of is a home that feels steady and kind. A place where I can finally relax, knowing I belong. Where my calm heart is understood and my quiet devotion is treasured. I promise to be loyal, gentle, and endlessly grateful for every touch, every soft word, every shared moment.
